The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a tractor trailer accident that spilled lumber into the woods of U.S. 25 northbound, near the state line of South Carolina, on Monday.

A .C. Trooper said a Western Express truck out of Nashville, Tennessee turned over when the load of lumber shifted causing the tractor trailer to lose its balance.

The accident happened just after 5pm, on Monday, and the unidentified driver was transported to Pardee Hospital with minor scrapes and injuries.

Henderson County Sheriff's Department was also on the scene along with Green River Fire Department.
